Fantastic! I visited 3 castles with my granddaughters, ages 18 & 11. We loved the experience. They said it was educational, beautiful, & fun. Food at the Chateau Chenonceau cafe has a good selection & reasonable prices. Our driver was friendly & offered us plenty of water on a very hot day in Paris.

It was a very nice day visiting the three chateaux. Our guide gave us very helpful information about each, and how it fit into the context of French and European history. We spent just enough time at each to get a good view, and were surprised at some of what we found at each. The first two provided a much better idea of what a chateau or manorial home looked like when they were occupied than I've ever seen before. There was certainly much left to see in more detail at each, for a return trip on our own some day. While food was not provided as part of this tour, there were several opportunities to purchase lunch and snacks at the stops, so you don't need to pack a picnic lunch in advance (as we did).
